Canada Week 56: In all places and in all things God is GOOD!

Hey my beautiful wonderful friends and family!  What an incredible, spirit filled weekend full of love and positivity and peace!  I love General Conference with my WHOLE HEART!  God is SO good ALL the time and knows exactly what we, His children, need!

Where to even begin with this week...It was so FULL OF LOVE AND MIRACLES!  My little heart is so overwhelmed with the goodness of God that I don't have the words to thank Him or express significant gratitude!  Two of my favorite miracles this week both involve some of my favorite people.  First and foremost is that the cute Bryanton kids have set a BAPTISMAL DATE!  I am now asking for your extra prayers and added thoughts next Fast Sunday for this family.  We need their mom's heart to be softened and their dad's heart to be strengthened.  I love these kids so much!  They have had such an impact on my life that I didn't even know I needed!  God truly knows us individually.  The other miracle is about the MOHAPI family.  If you have been following my emails or blog my mom keeps, then you will remember who they are.  The miracle is I found out that the dad IS ON BAPTISMAL DATE!  Who knew when I found him on a Facebook bible group and reached out to him that is would lead to this?  So if you could please keep him and his family in your prayers that would also be greatly appreciated!

This past week we were blessed with some incredible lessons and member visits.  One lesson in particular was with a referral we received from some Elders in another area.  My previous companion, Sister Petelo (I miss her), and I had tried to meet with him - finally something worked out.  He is from the Congo, but moved here awhile ago.  He has a Christian background so it was cool to connect about Jesus Christ.  He is awesome and we are hoping for good things!

There are a million things I would love to share about General Conference, but bottom line is GOD TRULY KNOWS OUR NEEDS!  I gained a HUGE testimony that He knows the silent pleadings of our hearts.  I had some questions that were answered.  I have had some some silent pleadings and struggles that I have kept in my heart and ALL OF THEM WERE ANSWERED!  I felt so overwhelmed with love and peace.  I want you all to know that I KNOW God lives and that He is good.  He truly knows us, our hearts, and all of our needs!  Hang on!  Keep trying!  Listen again to the words from conference and feel of God's love for you.

I love and miss you all! Have a wonderful week!

Love, Sister Merrill
